Ah, that explains it. Everything is more expensive down South. I used to live there. I came up here 'cos it's cheaper.

2000 litres delivered today to one of my oil boiler clients at 28.6 pence/litre. I watched as it was pumped in. Supplied by Northern Energy
Was that including 5% VAT?

As my tank is half full at the moment I didn't think to ask, but either way it is certainly a significant reduction from the peak prices of a few weeks ago.
