I have managed to abrade the plastic trim inside my car while taking some items to the recycling centre. Is there an easy way to fix (or at least improve) this? I need to limit the cost due to the age of the vehicle. I have tried a damp cloth and Cif so far. Any ideas?

Black Polypropylene that once it's scuffed, it's impossible to remove the marks ? You should see the bottom inside of my passenger door that Mrs C scuffs EVERYTIME she gets in.
(I'm looking forward to any remedies too !)
Waft a hot air gun or gas flame over it?
