My central heating uses microbore pipes thta look like they are 8mm diameter (need to measure to confirm) they are embedded in the plaster of the walls.
I am wondering if there is a method for producing a neat and tidy exit from the plaster as the pipes will protrude out from the wall and then upwards to the radiator valves.
Is there such a thing as a surface mounted connector thus allowing a flexible pipe to connect to the radiator?
You can get chrome collars which fit over 15mm tube (they are split, so can be fitted or removed without disconnecting the pipe) and make a neat job of a pipe coming out from the floor or wall. I've seen wood ones too - for a real wood floor.
I'd imagine there is the same for 8mm. Or should be.
I might be misunderstanding something with your setup however the microbore pipes we have here come out from the wall behind the radiator and thus there are no tails visible at all.
Sadly this is not the case. The pipes exit the wall either side (and lower than the bottom) of the radiator.
