Marley HIPfast system - possible to retrofit ?

Hi all,

anyone here have any experience of the marley "HIPFast" system for fixing roof ridge tiles ? Is it possible to use it on an exisiting roof, as opposed to mortaring in the tiles ?

It is possible but there's a lot of tile changing. There must be a gap of

38mm up the hip rafter to between the tiles to fix the support timber.
