Manual Mid Position Valve

We have an ageing Servowarm central heating system - does anyone know a source of a manual mid position valve please? Its just a lever that flips left to right and back to divert the hot water from rads/water to water only (summer), don't need anything electrical

Most electrical ones have a manual leaver as well. If worst comes to worst, fit one of those and ignore the electrical bits!

The message from John Rumm contains these words:

Or, take the motor off and make up a lever from scrap.

With some 3-port mid-position valves - certainly Danfoss - you can buy the 'wet' part of the valve separately from the electrical actuator.

The valve has a circular spindle with a flat on it - making the end D-shaped in cross section. You could probably fit an old-style radio knob to it to turn it between the mid and HW-only positions. There are no positive detents at each position - but you'd soon get used to knowing which way the knob needs to point.

Thanks everyone. As suggested I think the plumber is going to dismantle an electrical valve. Not one of the =A399 ones I hope!

Then again, only 1/2" so probably too small.

Get the technician to put an electric one on with a thermostat control.
