What's wrong with it? I assume you mean the EU plug which is similar to the UK plug, which is robust and sensible, unlike the stick two thin slivers of unshielded metal into a hole in the wall you get in the US. No wonder they think 240V is dangerous.
You have to add number 74 to the list of NEMA plug designs. In the UK we have two.
No it is not. It makes a lot more sense to have the device specific fuse in the device itself. That's why the whole of the rest of the world does it that way and now that so little is actually made in the UK anymore, there is no sense in having the fuse in the plug as well anymore.
In SF, people used to get tickets for blocking their own garage. We rebelled.

Uhh.... ok that really takes the biscuit. Surely in Merca you can just sue? In the UK we just don't pay the ticket, wait till they take US (that's a capital us, not USA) to court, then laugh them out of court. Or more likely they don't bother as it costs money to go to court.

The only thing the government does really well here is issue parking tickets, usually around $75 for minor infractions. But you can get several if you leave your car all day.

Circuits are ring wired in the UK too, aren't they? And use some sort of giant terminal blocks, no wire nuts.
We mostly use 12-2 Romex for house wiring now. Originally we had knob-and-tube, and then individual wires in conduit.
Romex leaks a lot of e-field so it's easy to trace wires inside walls.
many are, some are radial. Rings have many advantages but it's odd how many don't properly understand them.

Well, I pay some insurance that provides a remote lawyer. If I really can't park there, it is a real nuisance, so I try to fight. It is the second year, I think.
