low pressure in boiler housing

I have for the last year been using the dreaded ravenheat white star

100T a cheap and cheerful boiler from B&Q it worked fine for about 12 months but now its a pain in the arse after reading up on the fault finding chapter everything pointed toward replacing the pcb which i have done at a cost of =A3136.00p only to find after fitting it that it still doesn`t work i then discovered that the air pressure switch inside the boiler housing would not work unless i operated it manually via the vacuum tube which would work if i sucked air through the tube then the boiler would fire up okay, i then decided that the switch must be faulty so bought a new one =A342.00p this had the same outcome as the old switch and would only work manually.I need to know if there is anyway of checking the air pressure within the boiler housing or to know if anybody has any ideas how to rectify the problem or if there is a way of bypassing the air pressure switch.

Very likely the problem is with the inlets to the tubes. Or you could actually have a fan and air flow problem (check the flue and air duct). Do the simple things first.
