My wife walks around with a 'phone glued to her ear.
This morning she informed me that she cannot find the remote control.
My guess is that it is in a recycling bin.
I'll have a search tomorrow.
I wish there was a high tech way to locate it.

I've bought two TV remotes from Amazon and they were fine and not expensive. If you can get one for your soundbar it'll be a lot easier than a long search.
When you find it or get a replacement, you might want to consider getting a "car key" type of locator for it.
There is a high tech way. Buy loads of Apple Air Tags, and attach them to everything that is likely to be thrown away. If your wife is becoming forgetful, maybe attach one to her?
