I assume it's Andrzej, being a complete prat as usual. He seems to have nothing else to do but try to destroy Usenet.

Other people are outside, enjoying the gorgeous weather, but he seems to be stuck indoors, completely obsessed with Usenet. I can't help feeling sorry for the poor bugger.

Unfortunately, his output is so prodigious that he has overwhelmed one newsgroup after another, and they have simply died. He's obviously completely mad, and can't help himself.

They are obsessed because it's one of the few places these days where there are unmoderated groups.
