All of a sudden my landing light has started to trip my upstairs lighting. I have changed the bulbs, checked the connectors to make sure there are no loose wires but the problem remains. Does anyone have any idea why it might do this and if so how do I rectify the problem? Thanks for any help available.

Which connectors have you checked?
Does it *always* trip the MCB (I assume it's an MCB that's tripping) when you turn the light on or does it happen only sometimes or does the MCB trip at random after you've turned the light on?
Have you done anything else electrical anywhere else?
If you've checked the connections at the switch(es) and at the lamp and there's nothing wrong then the only remaining possibility is somewhere in between. E.g. something has damaged the cable run somewhere. However faults 'at the ends' are much more likely.
