Recently installed a sink into our newly installed laminate worktop (has a gloss finish). Used silicone sealant, and unfortunately did not place it very well so there was excess around the outside of the sink. Removed that according to the instructions on the sealant (used white spirit before it was dry), and now there is some staining on the worktop - it has an 'oily' look to in when the light reflects on it. Any ideas how to get rid of this??
