Integrated appliance kitchen door for B&Q Marchwood suite?

Okay guys, I'm going for long-shot of the year 2004 here...

My kitchen suite was originally bought from B&Q - it's the 'Marchwood' suite (a kind of antique pine) made by Berstein. We wish to buy a semi-integrated dishwasher and for this we obviously require a 597mm x 555mm door to affix to the front....

And yes, our kitchen suite is of course discontinued and so I thought I'd adhere to the old adage of 'if you dont ask you dont get' and see if anyone happens to have one of these knocking around that they'd be interested in selling me?!

Before you ask, a semi/fully-integrated dishwasher is our only option given the layout/configuration of the kitchen (plumbing in particular) and, believe me, I've explored every other avenue including a normal free-stander but integrated really is our only hope (they tend to be not as deep as freestanders).

I've e-mailed the original manufacturer on the off-chance they've got one spare and am awaiting a response. If I can't track something down I might have to go down the route of getting something fabricated out of stainless steel but I'll cross that bridge if and when I come to it. Perhaps just a standard white door painted to match? Any suggestions/experiences in this area however gratefully received now! Although I'm trying to keep the Heath Robinson option as a last resort!

Cheers,

Mathew

The freestanders have a top which is usually deeper than the actual machine to make room for pipes etc. I cut mine down and gained an extra couple of inches. Maybe you could have a door made, er, I mean make your own door for it?

I must admit I haven't measured the *actual* depth of freestanders... was just going from the specs so I'll have a look round for those shaped liked you described and may end up in luck.

As for a door if the above does prove successful I see Screwfix sell an unfinished pine door in a pattern not too dissimilar from ours (from what I can make out in the photo) and so might give that a shot with some antique pine stain... ..I'm sure I could get at least a semi-decent match with experimentation. At £13.99 + stain/varnish it's worth a try.

Thanks for the tip however - I'll get measuring....

I was in luck with the manufacturer - they had a few remaining in the warehouse! It was worth the 45 minute wait in their telephone queue - perhaps I'm not the only one after these things!
