Does anyone know what the current required standards are for insulation levels (i.e. u values etc) for a static residential caravan are? Some googling suggests that BS 3632:2005 has stuff to say on the matter, but I dont fancy forking out £125 for 30 pages!

Table 1: Comparative U-values Elements BS 3632 vs Part L Building Regs. Walls 0.6 0.35 Floor 0.35 0.25 Roof 0.35 0.16 / 0.2
The table 1 shows the target U-values from BS 3632 and the current building regulation Part L elemental standards. The table shows the standards for park homes are lower than those for new domestic properties.

Then go to your public library and view the standard online for nothing. You may even be able to do it from home, depending on your location.

ok, that should do nicely...
insulation on the inside, certainly not enough to meet the above spec. Slapping something on the outside would seem the obvious solution for this style of dwelling.
