What is a ballpark figure I can expect to pay to have someone install toilet, washbasin, bath, electric shower, extractor fan, lighting and all associated wiring, tiling and plumbing works in a 5'x9' bathroom in the Greater Manchester area?
Room was previously used as a bathroom so close access to soil pipe, waste water drainage and potable water services are close by.
More info required - all parts supplied? Electrics - RCD protected board, cables already in etc? Quality of parts supplied (B+Q type stuff is harder to fit than better quality parts)
I'd say to start at £1000 for labour, and £1000 for parts. Better quality bathroom goods cost a lot more than the rubbish at B+Q, so for a reasonable finish, expect £3000 upward for supply and fit.
If you want the cheapest rubbish, then £1500 all in could be done.
All parts would be supplied, but have not decided on the exact parts yet, was just looking for a ballpark for labour costs to put together a budget for the job. Bathroom never had a shower before so a separate circuit needs to go in for that. Electrics should support it.
Area above the bath and sink will be tiled. Rest will be painted.
