It is almost impossible to open the freezer compartment door on this new purchase. There is no frost on the door. Any ideas?

Hinge misalignment? There is usually some adjustment because the screws go through holes with clearance. But if it is new I would be very careful not to leave evidence of "fiddling", is it from a local or a "reputable" supplier?

Is it suction related? if you slide a butter knife in between the seal and the cabinet, and twist the knife a little while opening the door, does this allow the door to be opened easily?

Is this all of the time or just difficulty in opening it a short time after closing the door?

Try talcum powder on the seals.

When opening, put a finger on the door seal and pull there too. It breaks the suction.
