I used the waste pump during a dought 30+ years ago to pump the bath out over the back lawn.

It's still on a shelf in the garage, together with another one salvaged from a more recent machine ;-) I salvaged the control board, front panel, and main motor from a Hotpoint thinking I might put them on eBay, but never got around to it.

Not much point these days as they are all moulded and the flex will either be too short or that nasty barely flexable stuff that still has the kinks from being folded up in the packageing 10 years earlier.

I have recovered the ignitor from the old oil boiler on the basis that every boy has to make a Jacobs Ladder. But the damn thing appears to use the motor as some form of auto-transformer down to 50 V.
