How long can you keep scammers on the phone?

Using this now

I've been with TPS and MPS for many years and get very few scam calls (alth ough the frequency is creeping up slightly) and almost no junk mail. Also, I was scribbling "UNWANTED JUNK MAIL" on the envelopes of any such matter a nd posting it back, which was probably as effective as MPS.

Most of the scam calls come in the afternoon anyway when we're both out. I' ll come home and see a missed call with 'International' or 'Unknown' in the call register.

They don't. But they never call mobiles for some reason.

I avoid everyone very easily. I only have a mobile, and I only answer i= t if it's a mobile or a local landline. Otherwise they can leave a mess= age. I then look up the number and assuming it's a wanker, I put it in = the the blocked list on my phone.

For those kind I go into great detail about a fictitious car accident, which I make entirely my fault. They don't like that at all.

However, one keeps calling my mobile

I've only had three, my own bank, my own electric company and another electric company. I just blocked the numbers. Although with my bank I had a bit of fun asking them to prove who they were while they were trying to prove who I was.

I once asked the person for their bank details and PIN number to prove who they were.
