Firstly you book the family (if any) into a hotel for a few months....

That was funny.

I'd call the service guy on this one... (OK, OK, it's a DIY board, bu all the same). If the fault is electrical leakage (i.e. RCD trips whe pump switches on) or a burnt motor, you may as well go buy a new one Although all the parts are available, no one will ever replace them.

What's blocked? Is the motor/pump still running
