How come the BBC stopped showing the current top stories on the crawler at the bottom of the telly screen?

-------------- I see that the rotating story lines at the bottom have returned, after one week gone missing. I was just watching the story on "Sudan evacuations amid crisis", when I noticed the restoration!
it keeps going off for a period of time, then restarting, then off again,....etc. Somebody in London is asleep at the wheel! Maybe they had a pint or two...
