heat exchanger /neutralizer

Jan 15, 2006 0 Replies

Hello, new to the group, i am planning to fit an outside multi fue

water heater, running the feed and return pipes underground for abou

20mtrs. to an existing oil boiler. My main concern is corrosion to th pipes and which system to use to transfer the heat to the old set up. have been told one type of plastic pipe can stand up to 90deg. but th wood burner would sometimes boil the water if we had a power failur and the pump stopped. Do you think a Dunsley type neutralizer or a hea exchanger would be best. regards. John
