Has anybody got a workshop from proworkshop.co.uk?

I'm looking to build a new workshop and I've come across these guys at

Has anyone any experience of them. They look quite tempting to me but if you've any first hand experience I'd love to know.

Thanks

Given the company behind the website has a proposal to be struck off Companies House register, and has some very overdue accounts, I wouldn't touch them with a barge-pole, unless the build was at fire-sale prices.

You wouldn't happen to be Mr Mark Bairstow? Spamming doesn't go down very well in these groups unless you have something positive to add here, where your company details in a signature is the norm.

First of all sort out your company status.

It does tick most of the boxes for a spamming post.

I gave it the benifit of the doubt as it appeared to come from a Sky Broadband customer in Glasgow, which is a long commute to Buckinghamshire.

I didn't notice (although I think that's right). That's why I asked about location (and no answer, which seems to confirm it).

If around East Kent, look hard at Eagle Sheds - they do workshops. Excellent - I've bought several! First one was about 25 years ago and it's still in good nick at our old house, down the road.

Probably genuine even though it reads a bit spammy. He has a couple of previous posts about dry rot in an old shed last Nov/Dec with no mention of Proworkshop. If he was Mr shedcompany owner then I doubt if he would of posted about shed rot last year?

Usually you can build a better shed than a bought in one assuming you don't cost your labour and put the purchase price into decent raw materials and you are fairly capable with a saw and some screws

The white lining is faced chipboard , which is less than ideal, cellotex and some sort of plastic plank lining would be more durable.

Hi all,

Just got back to the PC - I can see why you thought I might be a spammer bu t I'm not! (I'm not Mark Bairstow either.)

I'm based in SW London. The previous workshop had severe dry rot as it wasn 't constructed with ventilation underneath. It's now demolished and I'm loo king to replace it with something more substantial. I was thinking of build ing something with blocks then came across this site and was getting a bit tempted. SWBO likes the look of them but I wondered if any of you had exper ience of them.
