We (mostly) all know the tin/lead solders available on the market, but where can I obtain a "gold" solder suitable for repairing small items of jewellery?

can often buy small quantities from suppliers on ebay. Bit pricier by weight than trade suppliers, but cheaper in terms of not having to buy far more than you'll ever need - for example:
