I suspect the answer is gonna be “don’t bother”, but I’ll ask anyway.
I’ve just changed the glass in our log burner as it had become stained and etched by the fumes beyond my ability to clean it up with a bit of damp newspaper and ash.
Now that I have the old glass out I’m wondering if there are more vigorous polishing techniques I might apply to the old glass (using power tools) that might make it worth hanging on to.
Any technique needs to be reasonably cheap. Just not worth going too far down this rabbit hole. ;-)
