Garage door opener

Anyone know where I can get information on the Hormann EcoMatic Garage door opener? Mine has recently gone haywire it seems to have lost its' memory or settings. It is erractic, closes then reverses about 0.5 metre so door is left open a bit. Presently disconnected. Have managed to disconnect drive and got door in position then re-connected drive but it goes out of sync more or less straght away. No instructions. There is a circuit pcb with dip switches but don't know what they do. Any help appreciated.

I don't know this particular model but I would expect that the dip switches would be to set the code accepted by the controller to the same as the one in your remote control. Don't necessarily expect your remote to have dip switches to match. Being smaller, they may well have set the code by solder blobs on the PCB.

I would also expect the motor/ gearbox unit to have limit switches to tell the controller when you door is fully shut and open. It sounds like these are faulty or badly connected.
