The fuse to our upstairs lights started to trip a couple of days ago, but not when the lights were switched on or off. Instead it trips when there are no lights on the circuit being used. It's occured overnight too. No other fuses in the fusebox trip when this happens. Re-setting the fusebox usually gives us about an hour or so before it trips again. Any ideas what might be causing this?
The fusebox is a year old and the upstairs lights circuit covers a two bedroom, one year old extension, and the older part of the house too (bedroom, hallway and bathroom - the bathroom was newly wired with the extension). Any help appreciated before I call an electrician...
