Actually I've been considering getting a foster dog.

As someone who suffers glaucoma, I read a lot too.

In my case, *red* light has been hihglighted as "good" because it carries enough energy to stimulate blood flow which is a good prophylactic to the nerve degenration which is what glaucoma is.

So much so that you can get red LED goggles that sound suspicously snake oily.

meanwhile vitamin wise, B12 and B3 get mentioned. But not to the extent that the NHS will prescribe them.

If you shop around the glasses are only around £2 but unless purchasing, say, 4 or 5 off postage seems to bump up the prices quite a lot.

When a I purchased a couple of pair for a relative I also purchased another 4 pairs of safety glasses of the same design but with different coloured lenses which came with no additional postage costs.

Oh c'mon. They are cheap as chips to buy online etc. Even if you aren't getting them in your diet

And they are prescription if you have definite lack of them

How does a "foster dog" differ from any other dog?

My retinas saw that as 'faster dog'

The charity which seeking to re-home the dog, pays all the bills and takes return it when they have found a new owner to permanently adopt, or you can ask them to take it back at any time ...

Pfft. Our dog is afraid of the dark. No chance of getting 4 walks in! ;-)
