In last Sunday's Express, an advertisement supplement is advertising what they describe as a magic mat. You place it on the floor of the freezer in the fridge and it says that it will prevent an ice build up.
How does that work?

For a method that does work, put cling film down. When ice forms on it, its extremely easy to remove.
