Fitting TRV's to 10mm microbore

Have decided to fit TRV's after replacing a clogged 3 port has resulted in the rads getting blazing hot.

All the rads are fed by 10mm which disappears into the walls, here is an example:

Looking at Screwfix it seems there are 3 options, a straight replacement using the existing olive & nut:

15mm version of the same TRV with a push fit reducer:

Drayton version of the above with snapping olive:

Opinions on which to go with? I want to avoid as much disruption & leaks as possible.

I'll be doing these as an ongoing project, will rubber bungs in the F&E tank be OK to avoid draining down each time?

Should have said I've already seen that. My end feed soldering skills are adequate but not the neatest :/

They'll improve ;-)

I'd certainly go that way rather than trying to get compressions to make secure joints onto soft copper, let alone compression reducers (spawn of the devil I tell you!)

Had a practice last night in the garage as I have umpteen off cuts etc. Never had a leaky joint, but solder all over.

Yes, the reducer is the way to go, but hink I'll wait until winter has gone before I embark on this project, I'll lob a tub of inhibitor in for now.

Gotta laugh at the way screwfix have assembled the valve incorrectly for the photo ;-)

I fitted the Drayton TRV's with the snap olive onto our 10mm microbore. Never had any issues with them in nearly ten years.
