Filling a major gap.

I am looking for a tube. The type that silicon, decorators caulk et al come in . However I need one I can put anything in. Intend filling the area under a greenhouse base (the slabs are level but they have some surfave uneveness so there are gaps at some places). Do not know what these tubes are called so can't even search on screwfix . Could I fill this gap with decorators caulk or should I go the sand/cement route?

I buy wholesale-size boxes of disposable gloves for jobs like that. They're useful for painting and gardening, too.

Oh aye. Balerno! I ken the place. My husband used to live there... I think the address might have been 'Blinkbonny' but can't be sure.
