Extract fan, electronics help.

Fan has stopped working.I have checked mains input (1) and thats okPower at output to fan (2) appears ok.Disconnected fan /motor (3) and connected briefly to mains and that runs ok.So issue appears to be between input and output.Likely cause and how to check, I have multimeter but only ever use for mains.
