Exterior wood varnish

Any recommendations? It's for a pitch pine porch. I'm not after staining or colour.

Shame to put anything on pitch pine as it's inherently pretty weather proof

It got varnished when it was put up, and looks much better where it is than where it's come off - gone to that grey colour most wood does in weather.

Being resinous, pitch pine doesn't take finishes well. I'd be looking at aliphatic polyurethane varnishes. Expensive, and usually marketed as "yacht varnish", but a world away from the the bog standard (aromatic) polyurethane.
