Extension pipe for expanding foam

hard to reach areas? I need a ~50cm reach and was thinking some PVC tubing might do the job, or perhaps some plastic plumbing pipe that I've got hangi ng around if I can get ensure a good seal against the canister.

I have done it, no problem. I had a bit of flexible plastic tube. You need a good seal onto the can tube of course, I used electrical tape. You waste a bit of foam of course

You can, but 2 problems:

2) Said tube tends to bung up in short order. For a very quick one off, it will work. For a long run of work, it will be a pain (I've tried).

You can get long reach guns with the valve at the tip, but the longer they get the harder it gets to source.

Here's a 2ft one, if you're not in a hurry (US) - 3ft ones exist too.

If it's a one off short use, this (whilst suffering from the problem above) will get you by:

I went to a toy shop & got a flag & used the plastic tube. For one bit I ne eded a little more length so wound some packing tape round the end. Worked fine. Cost 50p.

I've used earth sleeving for that purpose. Being flexible it gets squirty foam into a ceiling above can level

I used a length of silicone rubber pipe (?8mm or so) that I had lying around after a plumber left it. I operated the can while a friend operated the business end. As to experience: the first time we started it went OK for a minute or two, then the pipe popped off the end of the gun and splattered us both with foam. She wasn?t pleased. So use of a pipe clip or tape is recommended.
