Second post on the subject of my new Shed!
I have installed a fully wired house alarm (many moons ago). Having just taken delivery of a new shed, I was considering running a cable for a PIR to include the shed as a separate zone on the house alarm system.
Q1 - has anyone done this and if so did they have problems with nuisance tripping or similar as a result?
Q2 - I have a duct route to the house, but using this would mean the alarm cable would be in parallel with a Hi-tuff mains cable. Would this result in issues? Realistically, when the alarm is set, there wouldn't be anyone in the shed and therefore the mains cable shouldn't be in use.
