electronics: where to get pots with "idents"?

I need to replace a couple of pots in an audio amplifier (cracklebadly in some places). They are the kind that have discreet positions- I mean as you rotate the spindle there is a distinct movement to thenext position - rather than a continuous sweep. Is the correct term"ident pot" or "indent pot"? maybe. Does anyone know where I canpurchase some good quality ones?
