Door closers for doors opening right back

Nov 12, 2003 2 Replies

I'm rebuilding the front of the garage [workshop!] with a pair of heavy hinged opening-out doors that will open thro 180degrees - right back against the walls either side.

Is it possible to get closers or similar to fit to these so that if a gust of wind catches them while they are being opened/closed, they don't go with a great slam and cut fingers off?

Their big *.pdf has all the details.

Looks like the Briton 2515E's will be just the ticket. Expensive at 91.00 + vat, but will avoid an accident.

Many thanks Chris!
