Disposing of a mattress

I thought pikeys weren't keen on fridges either? (Not enough worthwhile metals).

I worry about when I die.

Fortunately I've left my lovingly curated treasures to someone with several houses and at least one cellar, so he should have room for them.

I remember my dad putting all the old foam cushions on the garden brazier.

Really surprised we didn't get the brigade turning up in full haz-mat gear because of the smoke.

Would a foam mattress feed through a garden chipper?

When we moved in this house, the water tank in the loft was insulated with an old duvet. So, when we got a new duvet, I used the old one as additional insulation.

This is how we got rid of our old washing machine a few weeks ago. Left out in the evening, it was gone by 10 a.m. next day. Except that it was two Asians in a red van.

You're forgetting there are two kinds of Plasterboard gypsum.

The normal kind (suitable for soil amendment).

And the toxic kind.

Sample articles.

There should be no need for that, as it is required to be double bagged.

Same as here.

I've done this. I decided to wait for a dry day, so I could leave the windows open, and I was only slightly concerned that the ratchet strap across the roof inside was holding the doors shut with me inside.

You should be able to strap it down with the driver's door open and than close the door, leaving it free to be opened.
