Dimmable LED ES golf ball

Now, that's impressive. I wonder what the material cost is, to make LEDs that are that defect-free ? The claim in the past was, that crystallographic mismatch, and the defects in the laying down of layers of material, were part of the limits to intensity. Could they volume manufacture that material ?

Interesting this article suggests the theoretical limit for a white LED with phosphorescence colour mixing is 260-300 lumens per Watt. Perhaps they have discrete RGB LEDs or RB and the green from phosphorescence?
