I have a Technoline weather station. The outdoor transmitter has been 'playing up' from time to time. Now it is not sending a signal and shows the reading OF.L (oC) which the manual tells me means 'temperature out of range' which it clearly isn't. Any ideas before I start trying to open the case - which appears difficult :-(

That happened to mine. I sent it back to the Weather Shop and they replaced it.
After how long?
About 9 months, but if you got it from Weather Shop I suggest you give them a ring or send an email. I've always found them extremely helpful.
Could water have got inside it perhaps? Brian
Possible, but I don't think so unless it was condensation. I tried everything from drying on radiator to putting in deep-freezer. My central heating wi-fi thermostat died recently so I guess that they have a limited life. The central heating one was about 5 years old and the weather station about the same so be warned! I've ordered a new one through Amazon, which was cheaper than ordering directly from the firm that will supply it. Strange world init?
Or you could just try opening a door/window.
