edition coming out 13 March 2013. If your PC is a couple of years old, you can often get the older edition (which will deal with your older PC) cheaply used.

You could try posting here what kit is giving problems, what the problems are, and what else you want to achieve in the way of upgrades, etc.

Books are generally out of date, and poor quality info IMLE

IIRC even the most experienced person had none when they started.
