Correction fluid

What is the solvent used in Tipp-Ex and similar correction fluids ? Those 20 ml plastic bottles dry up far too quickly.


Then: Trike (trichloroethane) Now: Probably pixie spit.

Water. Used to be 1,1,1 trichloroethylene IIRC.

Mmmmmmm. Tippex thinners.

Smelled lovely. Great for cleaning windows and mirrors.

One older type used Acetone, bit like nail varnish, and tended to shrivel the paper if you went mad with it.
