Hi all,
I have an "Ideal Logic Combi 24", which was installed two years ago by British Gas engineers.
When I switch it off via the remote thermostat/controller, it still keeps burning for a very long time. I have to switch it off at the mains outlet to stop it from firing up when it shouldn't be firing up. Can anyone suggest what is causing this? Is it the frost protection feature perhaps? Can I switch frost-protection off (permanently) somehow? The user manual doesn't say how.
If it's the frost protection that is causing the thing to stay buning when it's not needed, something is wrong, because it happens even when the outside temerature is way obove freezing point (17 degrees, even).
Thanks for any help...
Al
