Can anybody help? i have a valiant combi boiler. i've got a pilot light on in the display window, but when i put the radiators r hot water tap on, it does not kick in? pressure needle was slightly down under the 1 marker? but nothing really bad, well i don't think it is bad ? could it be something

2 do with the pressure vessel....

have u topped the pressure up above 1 bar? may have a low pressure cut out switch in the boiler.

Lee

just to clarify: is your heating working but your hot water not?

Both water and radiators are not coming on?

and have turned pressure up 2 ust over the 1 marker, and sill no joy... it has run under the number 1 b 4 and not done this. i've got a guy coming out

2 look at it now 2morrow. he deals with valiant boilers only? so with a bit of lady luck, he might have the pat on his van and not change me the dinner trip er sorry.... journey for the parts i need... :-) hope its not a new boiler... don't know how much? but would not like 2 buy a new 1....

i don't think it is about the pressure. My combi works fine at around that. It is valiiant also. Probably need to swop out the parts.

No.

Model would be helpful. Probably a VCW or a Sine...

Since it fails for both heating and HW it could be something common to both which really leaves most of the parts of the boiler... It could even be a failure of the electrical supply.
