Cleaning laminate flooring

Sep 17, 2003 3 Replies

The workmen who laid the laminate flooring have left glue all over the floor. It is impossible to clean off using a mop and soapy solution. Is there something that will remove the glue without ruining the lacquer finish of the floor?

I would say the workmen.

Yes, getting the joiner back to finish the job properly. :-)) Once the glue has set for a couple of days it should be possible to pick it off with finger nails or gently rubbing a moist fibre scouring pad (not a steel wool scouring pad).

There is also a liquid remover in the DIY stores for this.
