Is there anything a female art student cannot break?

Anyway yet more of the Exes failure to do a damned thing epoenbt get a man in who doesnt knwo anything is surfacing.

I have an Aga, that has an electric companion. Basically a full ceramic hob four plate two oven electric stove, styled to look like it belongs next to and bolted next to, a two oven aga.

Everything works EXCEPT the top oven whicvh doubles as a grill. This has two different cintrols. A one/two element selector and numbered knob, which does work, to let the grills be used, and a thermostatically controlled knob with a neon that is SUPPOSED to light up till the oven is up to temp. That is how the lower oven works anyway.

It simply is not working. Is that a dead thermostat that is relatively easy to replace?

Anyone know how?

Or is it akin to an engine out in a car..that is everything has to be pulled apart to replace a £15 quid part?

In which case I am inclined to say 'fuckit' as I have 5 other ovens available

yes, I found that - seems like its 'top off. knob off and get screwing'...

Should not have such posh expensive cooking facilities. Get the cheapest possible, then when it gets broken its not such a cost to fix it, just chuck it and get a new one. Brian

Although in reality, probably ROT13 ;-)

They've probably never heard of ROT13. You could tell them that the message has been encoded twice with ROT13, for added security.
