CH Pump

Our CH pump started making funny noises this evening. I hit it with a hammer but this only resulted in changing the tone of the noise. It seems to work OK when only the hot water is switched on but when I switch on the heating to the rads, the noise starts. The pump is a Myson, Unit 5, Code 1187 USC 252.Is there any way this can be repaired? I'm guessing that it's at least 25 years old and is the original pump that was installed with the CH system by the previous owner.Failing being able to repair it, can anyone recommend a new pump that would have inlets and outlets in the same place so I would not have to alter the pipe work when replacing it?
