Hi can anyone help My central heating timing switch (landis & gyr) is turning off as normal I think The lights are goning out anyway But the pump Grundos superselectric 15/60 130 bare pump is still continuously going and the only way I can get it off is the kill the mains power completelly via the swith next to the timer. Sorry I cant find the model number for the landis and gyr switch.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks...

Probably the actuators or microswitches on one of your zone valves has jammed.

Owain

Sounds like a stuck motorized valve to me.. Normal practice is the switch drives the valve, the valve opens the water circuit and ONLY WHEN OPEN, a micro switch on the valve switches on the boiler and pump.

This prevents a failed valve from switching pump and boiler on against a closed circulation path.

Find your motorised valve, and see if its stuck. Replace bits as necessary.
