I can't remember, I was looking at the money in his hand. He very nearly didn't get it as I almost fell off the ladder getting it down and was about to drop it before the weight pulled me to one side, but I just managed to grab the roof. I'd forgotten it was that heavy.

they come in a kit they're made out of metal and they're heavy , haven't you seen farm houses with windmills somewhere on the property

It was quite clever with winds. It could freewheel to stop the generator overheating, it could also short the generator to slow it right down.

They're probably bigger than what I had.

Poor driving, inability to react to a change in circumstances. Also, can't power steering be made so it functions for a while after no engine power? Brakes do.

And if there was no cutout, and the engine seized, you would have been no better off. And you'd have a big bill.

I had a blow out on my front tyre on a front wheel drive car on a motorway, going 90 in the fast lane. Everyone says it should have lost control, but it just pulled hard to one side, so I turned the other way to correct it and crossed the lanes onto the hard shoulder, then changed the tyre. If it wasn't for the bang, my passenger said he wouldn't have known what happened, as there was just a slight swerve as I corrected it, I never fell out of lane.

But there is a fake / decorative windmill near me that got destroyed in a heavy wind some time back.

the metal ones are new and they will fall if they're not installed well lots of guys here have ponds for live stock and they need , to keep the ponds aerated in winter so the cows can drink

Naw it's not like power brakes.... electric power steering is best but it causes noise on 40m when I am mobile....

You must be a weakling, it's pretty easy to use a car with failed power steering. Or was it an articulated lorry?

You have a modern car but don't have a satnav or mobile phone? Last time I broke down, I just pressed a button on the AA app on my phone, it gave them my location to within a few metres.

I broke a fan belt and Green Flag took me to a garage 10 miles away, who fitted the belt while I waited. I had phoned them from where I broke down and made sure they could get the part.

I bet you that's against the rules, for the customer to be the warning.

Write some nasty reviews on Google. You can try on the approved garages network, but they'll delete it, they actually admitted to me that garages pay them an annual fee to only show good reviews! I reported them to trading standards but as usual nothing was done.

Cars with that much electronics should be able to diagnose themselves.

Couldn't you have just started it and let it idle in the driveway for 15 minutes while you had breakfast?

As long as something is done to prevent damage, which is both expensive and just as, if not more, dangerous than cutting out.
