Solid but expensive. It's engineered plank (plywood with a thick top of the pretty wood) so it should have better dimensional stability than solid plank.
The thickness of the top layer means that it can be sanded back if required.
We had some flat and some with bevelled edges. on some of the edges the wood split and came away.
