Hi all;
Whats the longest line one can use to lay a course of bricks too?
25 Feet just does not give a flat line, even with a line nearly ripping the mortar out.I have a 38 foot run of wall with a double brick Tee at 30 ft.
Regards Ian

I've found it helps to use a strong rubber band at one end of the line - keeps the line under constant tension. Used it over 6 metres.

Idiot! Run it half way and build the centre of the wall up at the same time as you build the corners, then just rest the line in the middle on a nail while you do the infill.
What could be easier?
Putting a brick and a packer under it as you do each course perhaps?
Use a tingle halfway.
