Bosch plug terminals

Looking at the page and the part which states that Bosch were forced to continue manufacture of one of the plugs, I doubt you'll find them from anywhere other than an automotive suppliers. Might be worth trying auto electrical specialists though.

Ah - missed that bit. I'll try a search on that. Although of course I only want the terminal - no wire.

The other obvious one would be to try the VW partnumber listed with the VW dealer. They're normally quite good for that sort of bit, and reasonably cheap.

And I was down there today picking up stuff from Fyshwick.

VW sell the pins connected to short lengths of cable as repair bits- so you could splice those in. I can get a part number if you need it.

Thanks but no - I reckon I've got the correct crimp tool so would rather not add extra connections.

Yep picked up stuff from MB Spares come in along the Federal Hwy then back via the airport road. Would have only been 10-12k detour to visit Aranda. No problem at all. Have relo's in Bruce which is next door.

If you find a source for the pins let me know.

RS components do seem to have something similar made by Tyco - although the Tyco number doesn't seem to relate to the one given by TechEdge.

Described as a 3 series - RS 282-6315. They do a PDF of the specs including dimensions - but of course I ain't got one to compare, unless I take the plug on the sensor apart. There seem to be a few in this range for various sized cables.

Normally I'd just hack the plug off the sensor and use ones I've already got - but it seems to include something more than just connections.
